Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Specialist Hub (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Specialist Hub ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Specialist Hub is an online directory and lead-generation platform that connects California-based specialty contractors (drainage, roll-off, and backflow) with businesses seeking their services. We provide listing services only — we are not a contractor, we do not employ contractors, and we are not a party to any agreement between a contractor and a buyer.

3. No Verification of Contractor Credentials

Specialist Hub does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any contractor listing, including but not limited to: business name, license number, insurance status, years of experience, certifications, ratings, or any other information provided by the contractor. All information is self-reported by the listing contractor. Buyers are solely responsible for independently verifying contractor credentials, licenses, and insurance before engaging their services.

4. Contractor Listings & Subscriptions

Contractors may purchase monthly listing subscriptions (Basic, Premium, or Featured) through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, without refund.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information; post content that is defamatory, harassing, or illegal; attempt to circumvent payment systems; use the Platform to spam or solicit users outside the Platform; or reverse-engineer or scrape the Platform without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Specialist Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, any contractor's services, or any dispute between a contractor and a buyer. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate, complete, or current.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes via email.
